Eminem makes money by saying things that shock and offend people. But it’s taking increasingly more to shock and offend people these days. Witness the “Bum Hunter” clip from bumfights.com (with sales volume to make Insane Clown Posse envious) to see what Eminem has to compete with. But Eminem’s recent release could yet stir up outrage just in time to raise his profile for the release of his movie about Detroit. For starters, the video for “Without Me” has him dancing around dressed up like Osama bin Laden. Eminem’s song “White America” is an attack on American values and patriotism, at a time when patriotism is so high. The upcoming video for “White America” is (apparently created in Flash) produced by Guerrilla News Network. This is a multi-platinum artist rapping an anti-America song with profanities directed at Lynne Cheney and a video produced by an anti-government group. Many of the critics are writing that Eminem has “matured”, now that he is bashing the government instead of homosexuals. But if this new video plays on MTV without controversy, I’ll be stunned.

I know a lot of people say that he is a bad person and only wants to bring people down. but i dont think that. i love to listen to his music because he just makes sense to me. he is my favorite artist.
