Better Living through Software

ATTBI Sucks - America is becoming France. Everything is on an “if it happens to be working” basis. I’ve gotten accustomed to the fact that the cable TV crashes for about 15 minutes a day, and now I get the same from my broadband internet. News.com is reporting that the AT&T Broadband Internet service is now crawling at 128k. I can verify that; ISDN speed is definitely not worth the price I am paying for a cable modem.

It’s amazing how many companies are now selling Cable/DSL+Wireless access points. From the vendor attention, you would think that high speed Internet and 802.11 are catching on.

I wonder if the interrogation scene from “The Matrix” was playing in Johnny Walker’s head when he was being interviewed by CIA agent Spann?
